Josh Lyles is a Paralegal at Brown & Brothers, where he assists our attorneys and clients in a variety of ways. Josh started working for B&B in February 2016 and was quickly promoted to Paralegal, an accomplishment that Josh is very proud of. In this role, Josh helps our attorneys manage case files, communicate with clients and third parties, orders medical and financial records, and organizes meetings and depositions.
Josh is incredibly good at communicating and connecting with other people, which makes him an asset to the B&B team. His background in Sociology helps him empathize with what our clients are going through, which is important in difficult and emotional cases. Josh prides himself on being understanding and compassionate. He enjoys working with clients, helping them understand the legal process, and helping them solve problems.
Josh was born in Maui, Hawaii, but was raised in Texas. He obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Texas A&M, where he took classes focused on legal theory, law, and philosophy. He later completed the Paralegal program at the University of Houston where he graduated near the top of his class.
Josh believes that his personal and professional life are reflective of one another, and strives to do his best no matter what he puts his attention to. Josh is married and enjoys spending his free time with his wife. He is passionate about reading and learning new things. He also enjoys music and dabbles in listening, writing, and playing music.
