Jose Poa Case Manager

Jose Poa is a Case Manager at Brown Wharton & Brothers. As Case Manager, Jose works alongside attorneys in the consultation and communication process with potential clients. He also helps review case facts, gather medical records, and determine if the law firm may be able to proceed with a case. Jose works closely with the attorneys, nurse paralegals, and other staff that make up the BWB team. Jose has been working with BWB for four years.
Jose brings valuable experience in business administration to his role at BWB. He is organized, timely, and thinks critically about his duties. He is a bridge of communication between our attorneys and clients, and understands the importance of professionalism. Jose also serves as a bridge between English and Spanish, translating documents and communicating with the firm’s Spanish-speaking clients and community.
Jose obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from the University of Houston-Downtown. Graduating college was a huge moment for Jose and his family, as he was the first person in his family to obtain a college degree. Jose believes that his education has helped him develop his communication and organization skills.
Jose is married and has two daughters. His greatest passion is his family, which he says is his primary motivation for everything he does in life. His family is what drives him toward success and excellence. Jose is also passionate about baseball, and enjoys watching and participating in the sport. He volunteers at Briarmeadow Charter School where he teaches students how to play.
He also enjoys traveling and is surprisingly good at making travel arrangements – a talent Jose is certain that his wife would agree on.
