This program will provide students the ability to express their passion and drive while competing for a $500 college scholarship. It is our hope that this program will inspire the next generation of students to recognize and push toward educational and professional success.

Scholarship eligibility and application requirements

The Brown & Brothers College Scholarship is open to individuals who are currently attending or are planning on attending an accredited United States college or university during the Spring 2019 semester.

In order to participate in the essay contests, applicants must:

  • Submit a 1000-word essay answering the question posted at the top of this page.
  • Submit the essay to scholarship@medmalfirm.com.
  • Be 18 years of age or older.

Essays must meet the following requirements:

  • Essay must be received by 1/15/2019 at 9:00 AM Central.
  • Must include full name, address and phone number.
  • Must include the name of the institution they plan to attend in the Spring of 2019.
  • Please include a major or other programs of study if available.

A winner will be chosen by or around January 30, 2019.  By submitting an essay, you affirm that the content is original and you give permission to Brown & Brothers to post the essay on its website.  

This scholarship is offered for both the Fall and Spring semesters.  The prompt for the Fall scholarship will be posted after submissions for the Spring 2019 scholarship have been received.
